Abdi lives with Cerebral Palsy and had never spoken a word until he met at teacher who changed his life. He finally found his voice using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and today he’s a motivational speaker helping others to transform their mindsets - both in regards to ourselves and the world around us.
In this session, we’ll explore the concept of limitless disability - challenging societal perceptions and internal barriers that often define disability. Using personal stories, insights from his advocacy work, and experiences as a long-time AAC user, Abdi will share how individuals with disabilities can redefine their own narratives.
