August 17: Talking About Money
Today’s blog explores how we can talk about money with honesty while still protecting children from adult responsibilities. It is not about sharing every financial detail or expecting children to carry worries that belong to grown-ups. Instead, it is about creating age-appropriate conversations that help children understand the choices their family is making, while reassuring them that they are loved, supported and never responsible for fixing financial problems. Children deserve honesty and the security of knowing that they do not have to carry the weight of adult worries.
