International Day of Disabled Persons: Seeing things differently – fresh perspectives on understanding disability

In this session, Sarah will invite attendees to take a fresh look at how disability is understood and share insights into creating environments where disabled people can truly thrive.

Drawing on her lifelong experience of living with sight loss, alongside her professional background as a leader, speaker, and coach in disability and LGBTQ+ inclusion, she will explore what meaningful support looks like.

Through lessons from her personal journey, Sarah will highlight how when given the right environment and opportunities people with disabilities can move beyond simply succeeding to truly thriving.
